In this position, you will perform the monthly reporting of GAAP financial statements, including monthly and quarterly discussions of results to management. In addition, you will direct and manage the quarterly reporting of statutory information, direct and manage communication on SEC reporting items including 10-Q and 10-K filings, as well as direct and manage the financial controls area, including analysis of risks to financial reporting and design of process and procedures around account reconciliations, daily balancing, and other financial controls as well as the cash operations area. This position supervises two direct, management level professionals and indirectly 14 other associates. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Fianance and highly desires a CPA certification or CMA. Master's degree is also desirable. A minimum of 10 years financial reporting experience is required as well as 5 years at a management level.
Our Client seeks a Manager of Financial Reporting. In this role, you will manage the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. In support of the financial statements, prepare written operating summaries to explain business performance and prepare related covenant calculations/certificates. You will also ensure the accurate recording of all financial transactions to the General Ledger. Manage the monthly and year end closing process including the interim and year end audits performed by outside auditors. Maintain and control financial accounting applications and systems. Perform accurate and timely account reconciliations. Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and department processes. Supervise staff of 2 professionals and 1 clerical. The qualified candidate will have a BA/BS Accounting Degree, CPA required with an advanced degree desirable. 5 or more years related financial reporting/ management experience including public accounting, and audit experience is required.

In this role, you will provide technical support to the project management team responsible for the construction of a new process line at the company's plant. Upon this projects completion, the individual will visit our various locations in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest performing field inspections and working on major capital projects. The position will require heavy travel- up to 75%. The successful candidate must have Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and a minimum of 2 years experience is required. Experience in the construction industry is a plus. A PE Certification is preferred. Relocation will be offered to the right candidate.
